The Schroon Lake Region
The town of Schroon Lake and the lake of the same name are nestled in the Adirondack mountains of upstate New York. A small, close-knit and friendly community, Schroon Lake is a quintessential small resort town. Quaint shops and restaurants dot the main street. Truly a four-season resort, tourists visit in the winter for near-by skiing and winter sports, in the spring for fishing and hiking, in the summer for fun in and around the water and in the fall for the amazing colors. A more relaxing and beautiful town is hard to find.
The body of water known as Schroon Lake is nine miles long and has two natural islands. It plays a central role in the life-blood of the community of residents and visitors that live, play and work on its shorelines and the surrounding areas.
Many local businesses support Seagle Festival by taking ads in our annual Program Book.
