SEAGLE FESTIVAL’S 2021 CHILDREN’S OPERA
Available beginning July 1, 2021
For 2021, Seagle Festival is supplanting our typical live touring children’s opera with a newly created video-recorded version of the enchanting children’s opera THE THREE BEARS by Jonathan Stinson. The production is sung in English and appropriate for children pre-K to 6th grade.
WHO: Four or our talented 2021 Seagle Festival Emerging Artists will record the show in June 2021.
WHAT: The recorded video will be available for licensed showing at your venue or school beginning July 1, 2021. The video can be made available in whatever format works best for your venue or school.
On request, Seagle Festival can also arrange a LIVE VIDEO CHAT with one of the performers or directors of the children’s opera. The chat can be structured as a Q&A with your audience or student body, or a brief presentation on how the opera was put together, rehearsed, and brought to your venue or school.
WHEN: The video will be available beginning July 1, 2021 for summer venues, and at any time during the 2021-2022 school year for elementary and/or intermediate schools.
HOW: The licensing fee for 2021 is $250 per school or venue – all inclusive. No funds are due at the time of booking, and most in-school performances can be reimbursed or paid through your BOCES Arts in Education program (WSWHE, FEH & CVES)
