Seagle Festival hires talented production staff from across the United States. These artists, designers, and technicians fully produce four productions in ten weeks. Newly hired production staff work side by side with experienced professionals, some of whom have been returning to Seagle Festival for over ten years. Seagle Festival is a fantastic environment for students and young professionals to practice their craft and gain experience to further their careers.
NOTE: All Seagle Festival employees are required to have the ability to show proof of full vaccination from the COVID-19 virus before beginning work. The definition of fully vaccinated will be determined based on CDC guidance at the first day of any employee’s contracted period.

Lighting Assistant: Duties include assisting the Lighting Designer with circuiting, hang and focus of lighting equipment for all events, programing and cueing for all events. Must be familiar ETC Eos software. Experience with LED and moving heads a plus. The lighting assistant communicates with directors and production staff, and attends meetings and rehearsals as necessary. Applicants should have the ability to follow an opera score. Rigging skills are a plus. Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. is required. Ability to work on a ladder at a height of 16 feet or more is required. Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team in a very busy and fast paced environment.
Contract dates are June 12 thru August 20. Salary: $350/week + room & board.
Assistant Stage Manager: This is a non-union contracted position. Duties include promoting a safe, productive, and professional environment in rehearsals, performances. Serve as assistant stage manager per season assignments. Assisting with the running of all rehearsals and performances as assigned. Create and maintain technical running paperwork related to productions as assigned. Distribute daily notes to ensure communication of needs between all departments as assigned. Attend full company strike calls for all 4 mainstage productions, assist PSM in general production focused office work as assigned. Must be able to read music. Ability to safely lift 25 lbs. is required. Must be able to work as part of a team in a very busy and fast paced environment. Opera experience is preferred.
Contract dates are June 12 thru August 20. Salary: $375/week + room and board.
